Live Consultation Terms

1. Service Description

The live consultation service provides real-time text-based expert advice from That Privacy Guy (Hanff & Co. AB) across the following areas of expertise: Privacy, Data Protection, Cyber Security, AI Governance, Privacy Engineering, and Privacy by Design. Consultations are conducted via the live chat widget on this website.

2. Billing

• The consultation rate is EUR 350.00 per hour.
• Billing is in 15-minute increments (EUR 87.50 per increment).
• The minimum billing period is 15 minutes.
• A pre-authorisation hold of EUR 350.00 will be placed on your payment card at the start of the session.
• Only the actual time used will be charged, rounded up to the nearest 15-minute increment.
• The hold will be released for any unused portion.
• Billing begins when Alexander (That Privacy Guy!) starts the session, not when you first connect.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. By using this service, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

4. Nature of Advice

The advice provided during a live consultation is expert-level guidance in Privacy, Data Protection, Cyber Security, AI Governance, Privacy Engineering, and Privacy by Design, delivered by a specialist with over two decades of experience and an Advanced Master of Laws (LL.M.) in these fields. While the advice is informed by deep legal and technical expertise, it does not constitute formal legal advice. For formal legal representation or opinions, please consult a licensed legal professional in your jurisdiction.

5. Confidentiality

All information shared during the consultation is treated as confidential. Chat transcripts are stored on our self-hosted infrastructure and are retained for 12 months for service delivery and professional record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your transcript at any time by contacting privacy@thatprivacyguy.com.

6. Session Termination

Either party may end the consultation at any time. If you disconnect unexpectedly, the session will be ended automatically and you will be charged for the time used up to that point. Sessions are limited to a maximum of 60 minutes per hold authorisation.

7. Transcript Download

At the end of each session, you will have the option to download a transcript of your consultation. This is provided for your records and is available only at the time of session completion. We do not collect your email address for transcript delivery.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
